JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate will supervise cashiers and bankers. Responsible for ensuring that all accounting activities in the Cage and Main Bank are performed accurately and efficiently in accordance with Internal Controls and policy and procedures. Assures good customer relations are maintained by all personnel. Responsible for enforcing policy and procedures, and Internal Controls.  Maintains confidentiality of all wagering operations data. Informs Cage/Count Manager of all incidents or disputes related to patrons, employees and inter-department activity.  Candidate will oversee gaming vouchers exchanged for cash, check cashing, credit card cash advance, customer safekeeping deposits and withdrawals, and direct mail coupon redemption.

Candidate is accountable for maintaining the appropriate level of funds at the cage.

Essential Duties:

 

  • Candidate will assist in ensuring accuracy of jackpot payouts and related safekeeping deposits and withdrawals.
  • Candidate will monitor cash levels in all Cage locations. 
  • Candidate will supervise large payouts by cashiers.

 

  • Candidate will make recommendations for changes to policies and procedures in order to improve inefficiencies.
  • Candidate will document attendance and variances and work in conjunction with the other Cage Supervisors or Cage/Count Manager to review employee files and prepare corrective action documentation.
  • Candidate will complete daily cash accountability logs, give performance feedback and employee disciplinary actions.
  • Candidate will prepare cashier transfers, ensure that accurate paperwork is completed for all functions of the position including end of shift balancing of cashier windows and cage.
  • Ensures compliance with Title 31.
  • Candidate will ensure preventative maintenance is performed on equipment in the Cage. 
  • Candidate will maintain confidentiality of all wagering operations data.
  • Candidate is responsible for informing Cage/Count Manager of all incidents or disputes related to patrons, employees and inter-departmental issues.
